Our journey began with a deep-rooted love for agriculture and an unwavering desire to reconnect with our Indian heritage. Having lived in the States for over a decade, there was always an urge to go back home to India and connect with our roots and culture. On one such trip, while visiting friends, we were introduced to the magical world of Coir and Coir Products. Our culture always spoke of coconut trees as KalpaVrksa, Sanskrit for “divine tree” because every part of the tree is supposed to be useful. But we were still new to the potential of the humble coconut husks. Once considered waste, they could be transformed into gold for the farming industry with minimal processing. With the know-how, support and motivation from friends who were experts in the industry, and two years of meticulous planning and unwavering commitment and hardwork, our manufacturing unit Nambu Coir emerged.
